Not All Carpet Cleaners Are The Same

How To Choose The Best Carpet Cleaners & Save Money

When choosing which carpet cleaner you go with be sure you are basing your decision not just on price. The company that offers the lowest prices is usually the ones that tend to have the most problems. Since they are offering such low prices their profit margins are going to be so low that they won't care about the quality of service, they won't care about your schedule or being at your house by a specific time.

What should you pay to get your carpets cleaned?

Well in my state, Alaska carpet cleaners usually $140 for a decent sized home. A living room, hall way and two decent sized bedrooms comes out to about $140. Prices can be based on a few factors such as types of carpet, size of rooms and if stairs are involved. Basically if it takes more work, then the price just might go up. Will the carpet cleaner have to move furniture? Will they have to work around large objects such as dining room tables?

How can you save money while getting your carpets cleaned?

Its easy for a home owner to save money on their carpet cleaning bill. Since cleaning carpets is more than just vacuuming, if the home owner did a quick vacuum of the carpets that are to be cleaned, this will make the cleaning process go faster. If the carpet cleaning company has to deal with crumbs, cat hair, cat hair balls, or anything else, its going to take them longer to vacuum up the messes before they can even start with the cleaning process. Of course a home owner can just pay to have everything done for them, and most do. But if you are looking to save money and also want your carpets to be professionally cleaned then take a few moments and vacuum your floors, move your furniture and pick up the kids toys. Make the job easier for the carpet cleaning company.

Remember that cleaning jobs are usually bid on by the size of the carpets that are to be cleaned. If you have a room that isn't used much or the carpets aren't necessarily dirty, then don't have them cleaned. The same goes with hallways or stairs. Some hallways are not used as much as the living room or the carpets by the front or back doors. Be mindful on what carpets are dirty enough to have a professional carpet cleaner come out and clean.
